Biba appoints Nicol to lead motor panel

New chairman describes role as an “honour and a privilege”.

The British Insurance Brokers' Association (Biba) has turned to Gallagher Bassett branch manager George Nicol as chairman of its motor panel.

Sister title Post revealed that Nicol has taken up the role after Allan Briscoe, technical consultant at Aon, retired from the position having chaired the committee for 10 years.

The committee represents the interests of Biba members on matters relating to motor insurance.
