Barbon unveils Simon Ellen as chairman
Ellen replaces Malcolm McCaig who assumed the chairmanship last October.
Barbon Insurance Group has unveiled Simon Ellen as new chairman.
Ellen - who boasts chairman and non-excecutive director experience at First Assist and Garwyn Group - has replaced Malcolm McCaig, who only assumed the role last autumn.
Outgoing McCaig had replaced Jamie Drummond-Smith as chairman on 1 October 2013 and has been a Barbon board member for seven years.
Martin Totty, Barbon CEO said the appointment of Ellen had the "full support" of the wholesale broker's investors.
