Brokers warned to "be aware" of watchdog's investment review

Warning comes after the Financial Conduct Authority issued investment incentive guidance.

Insurance brokers have been urged to "be aware" of the regulator's latest conflicts of interest guidance issued for investment businesses.

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) yesterday issued its guidance on incentives for product providers and advisory firms.

It came as a separate FCA thematic review into broker conflicts of interest is on-going.

And ahead of any results being published for the general insurance sector, Norman Hughes, director at Compliance Management Services, told Insurance
