Axa completes brace of senior broking appointments

Insurer looks to boost "breadth and depth" of its broker market engagement.

Axa commercial lines and personal intermediary has completed a brace of senior broking-facing appointments as it bids to boost the "breadth and depth" of its market engagement.

Maureen Varlow - who has spent more than 30 years at Aviva - has been named senior relationships manager, completing a team of three.

She has been handed four key broking accounts and was most recently Aviva national sales manager, north east.

Furthermore, Neetu Patil has been promoted to head of new deals, taking over

Brokers eyeing up expansion in non-standard
