Profits up at Open GI

Technology specialist reports 8% rise in Ebitda compared to 2012.

Open GI, including PowerPlace, has posted a £25.8m Ebitda for 2013, an 8% increase compared to 2012.

The technology company highlighted that the figure was a record for the business as was its overall revenue.

Open GI bought PowerPlace at the end of February 2013, and described the performance of the latter as "excellent" during the year with a 12% increase in policy count along with quotes on the platform exceeding one million in a single year for the first time.
