Polaris renews imarket contract with IBM

imarket confirms that quotation volumes tripled on the previous year while new business volumes doubled.

Polaris UK has renewed its imarket contract with IBM after a strategic review, announced by the recently appointed Polaris chairman, Dave Smith, commercial broker managing director for Zurich.

The imarket portal supports etrading and real-time pricing for commercial insurance products and also provides a number of shared services, such as electronic covernotes and automated accounts reconciliation.

Smith commented: "We are very pleased to confirm that Polaris has renewed the imarket contract
