Axa COO Carruthers joins Acturis board

Carruthers confirmed in October that he would leave the insurer at the end of 2013.

Axa commercial lines and personal intermediary chief operating officer Max Carruthers has joined the Acturis group board as a non-executive director. 

Insurance Age revealed in October that Carruthers would leave the insurer at the end of 2013. 

He has also previously been Towergate operations director and chairman of Open GI.
