CII officially unveils Direct Line's Woolgrove as president
The Chartered Insurance (CII) has officially unveiled Tom Woolgrove as president, succeeding Amanda Blanc.
Woolgrove - who is managing director, personal lines insurance, Direct Line Group, said he was "honoured" and "excited" to be assuming the presidency for 2013/14.
In May, Insurance Age revealed that Brokerbility chairman and chief executive Ashwin Mistry would become president of the CII in 2014. He has been named deputy president of the coming year, ahead of assuming the top role.
