Willis Networks rebuilds membership

Willis’ networks division has added 12 new members.

The broker stated that the total membership of Willis Networks now stood at 140, which shows a reduction from the 142 membership figure reported in March of this year, when the network split with Aviva.

The Willis Commercial Network added London-based Gracechurch Private Clients, Wigan-based Guardian IB and LGR Solutions, trading as Mainstay Insurance, based in West Sussex.

Willis N2 welcomed Clitheroe-based M & C Risk Solutions as well as Commercial Direct and M&N Insurance, both based in London, and Bruce Burke & Co and Consort IB, both based in Essex.

The network also added Stockport-based Metcalfe Insurance Services, Kent-based Michael James Insurance and Property Services LLP, Sunderland-based Northern Risk Solutions and Blackburn-based Spencer Hayes Financial Services.

Sara Fardon, Willis Networks managing director, commented: “Over the past six months we have improved the proposition to complement the core reasons for selecting the Willis Networks: access to leading insurers, innovative products, business development and marketing services to help brokers compete in local markets, along with the support of a global broker.

“Independent regional brokers continue to recognise the benefits of aligning with a leading network whose proposition has developed and strengthened with the changing landscape.”
