RSA confirms London Market cargo promotion

RSA has promoted David Godsoe to lead its London Market cargo business.

Mr Godsoe - who has jointly managed the business since 1995 - has made the step up following the decision of Gordon Dickson to retire at the end of September.

Mr Dickson has been part of RSA's marine business for more than 32 years.

Speaking about the promotion, RSA head of marine Richard Turner said: "David brings a wealth of experience in the marine sector. In his new role he will help us to continue positioning RSA as an industry leader in this sector and driving growth to the business.

Brokers push for more from RSA/NIG

Brokers have given a mixed report on communication levels around the RSA and NIG deal but with the process kicking forwards today have expressed the hope the takeover will make more products available.
