AGCS boosts financial lines team

Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS) has appointed Kevin Northcott as the regional head of financial lines to drive product development and expand the company’s presence.

He joined Allianz in 2005 and has held a number of senior roles in Europe and Asia Pacific. In 2010 he took up the role of CEO of AGCS in Hong Kong having been made general manager in 2009. Prior to joining AGCS, he worked at AIG and Ace.

Mr Northcott, who brings over 30 years' insurance experience to the role, will be based in the London office with overall responsibility for the UK and Ireland along with South Africa, Canada, Dubai, Australia, New Zealand.

Aviva doubling down for customers, says Martin
