Markham Private Clients in regional broker push after AIG deal

Markham Private Clients (MPC) has targeted regional brokers as it looks to grow its high net worth (HNW) book to £7m within five years.

The wholesale broker entered into an exclusive arrangement to become the UK sole-tied agent of Chartis (now AIG) Private Clients Group in September 2012. 

And MPC said it is looking to use this deal to provide regional brokers with access to AIG's top-end personal lines products and boost its own growth strategy.
