Towergate parts company with regional MD in Midlands shake up

Insurance Age can reveal that Towergate regional managing director for the Midlands Paul Watts has left the business, with two further MD changes.

Mr Watts was placed on gardening leave by mutual consent in December reducing the consolidator’s number of regional MDs to five.

In addition, Mike Smith has left the post of managing director for the Nottingham office.

Andy Bedford, who runs Towergate’s Hinckley office, has taken over in a dual role as interim MD for Nottingham.
