Arista in merchant trade scheme launch with BIS
Arista Insurance has launched a merchant trade scheme with Merseyside-based broker Business Insurance Services (BIS).
The commercial lines underwriting specialist said the scheme, called Tradesafe, was developed as part of its "ongoing desire to work with its brokers to introduce more schemes".
It provides cover for builders' merchants and associated trades such as plumbing suppliers and has been targeted to reach £400,000 GWP in its first year.
Arista said it is in discussion with BIS for a further possible scheme for associated trades to be introduced this year.
