30 jobs at risk with Gallagher Heath Norwich branch closure

Up to 30 jobs could be at risk after Gallagher Heath's decision to close its Norwich branch in the New Year.

The firm confirmed the office would close on 21 January with the business instead moving to Bournemouth in a bid to open a specialist charity division and expand the operation. 

A spokesman confirmed that staff had been offered alternative posts in Bournemouth or at the firm's other 16 UK offices.

And he confirmed that Diane Caplehorn, who currently runs the Norwich business, would head up the Bournemouth location.

He added: "The location is closing down, but not the business."
