Collinson buys in claims management expertise

Collinson Insurance Group (CIG) has bought One Assist Limited, which includes the assets of claims management company One Group.

As part of the deal, CIG will merge its own claims handling operations with One Group, and will also transfer its existing assistance business into the company from third-party suppliers.

Paul Byrne, CEO and co-founder of One Group, will remain with the business, taking on the role of director of the acquired division.
