Invicta to pick up local broker's general insurance business

Invicta Insurance Services is set to acquire the entire general insurance portfolio of Sevenoaks Insurance Brokers.

The deal - which is scheduled for completion on 1 January 2013 - will see Sevenoaks’ staff move across to Invicta.

According to Steve Garnage, managing director at Invicta, the acquisition comprises “high quality general insurance risks”, while most of the business is local.

Adrian Goodall, managing director at Sevenoaks, said the broker had been approached by several companies but chose to go with Invicta as it “represented the best home for our loyal clients and staff".
