New Midlands and South West manager at Chartis

Chartis has appointed Laura Wilkinson as regional manager for the Midlands and South West, succeeding Richard Jinks, who was recently appointed UK middle market and SME distribution manager.

Ms Wilkinson joined AIG in 2006 as business development manager, progressing to manage financial lines in the Midlands and South West region in 2007. In 2011 she was appointed regional sales manager.

Aviva doubling down for customers, says Martin

Aviva is committed to pushing on with an “absolute focus on customer” and will continue “doubling down”, David Martin, managing director for UK commercial and chief distribution officer, told Insurance Age as he teased a “major new proposition” pencilled in for the end of the third quarter will catch brokers’ eyes.
