Bootiful account win for Oval

Oval has won the Bernard Matthews account to be its livestock brokering and risk management provider.

The Norfolk-based company was made famous in the 1980s by Mr Matthews' "bootiful" catchphrase on television adverts. The core part of the group produces approximately seven million turkeys a year.

The news, revealed in Farmers Weekly, will see the broker deliver the insurance through its Poultry Unique policy. As well as insuring against disease in the flock the product can cover farm assets including technology such as wind turbines and solar panels.
