Axa Assistance takes intermediary chief from L&G
Axa Assistance UK has appointed Adam Smith as sales director from Legal & General Insurance (L&G) where he was head of intermediary accounts.
At L&G Mr Smith was responsible for the management of the insurer's combined general insurance broker and financial intermediary distribution.
In his new role at Axa Assistance he has been tasked with accelerating the growth of the company's large corporate partnerships business.
Mr Smith will have direct responsibility for building new partnerships with these clients across motor, legal and home assistance business lines.
