Markel boosts UK retail division with Chartis hire
Markel UK has appointed Julia Churchill as broker development manager for the South.
Ms Churchill joins the retail division of Markel International from Chartis, where she held various management roles. She has previously worked at JLT and RSA.
Melissa Kalsi, regional manager for the southern region at Markel UK, said: “Julia brings with her many years of experience in broker development and she will be working closely with myself and other members of the team to ensure we maximise the distribution opportunities the south offers across our entire product range.
