Integro buys Colchester broker

Integro Insurance Brokers has bought Colchester-based Allan Chapman & James Insurance Brokers for an undisclosed sum.

Allan Chapman & James, which was established in 1988 and focuses on the independent film, television and media industry sectors, will keep its trading name.

The firm's founders, Les Marshall and Terry Austin, along with commercial director John Claffey will all remain as company directors.

They will be joined on the board by Bill Goldstein, Integro chief financial officer, Ron Whyte, chief executive of Integro International, and John Owens, chief financial officer of Integro's London operations
