Biba chairman assumes business mentoring role

The chairman of the British Insurance Brokers' Association (Biba) Andy Homer has assumed a business mentoring role.

Mr Homer - who is also the former chief executive (CEO) of Towergate Partnership - has joined business leader development firm Merryck & Co.

Speaking about his latest position, Mr Homer said: "This provides me with an opportunity in this new phase in my career to work with highly-talented clients and use my experience to help them achieve their goals, both business and personal.

"It will be a learning experience for me too."

Mr Homer is also a non-executive director and shareholder in Towergate

Biba 2024: FCA to take its time on transparency proposals

Emily Shepperd, chief operating officer of the Financial Conduct Authority, has said the regulator was “overwhelmed” at the response and amount of feedback to its transparency proposals, and that it is going to “really take our time” when considering any possible next steps.
