Lockton has expanded its Manchester-based regional wholesale business with the appointment of former Lucas Fettes MD, David Lee.
Mr Lee, now a vice president at Lockton, was also head of Lucas Fettes' Lloyd's and London Market division.
Matthew Davies, managing partner of Lockton North, said: "David is a highly respected player in the local insurance community and very well regarded in the Lloyd's and London markets where he is known as a broker and cover holder.
