Henderson expands in North East with IFA purchase

Henderson Insurance Brokers has acquired Hartlepool-based independent financial advisor (IFA) Arlington for an undisclosed sum.

Arlington, which will now be known as Henderson Private Wealth, handles a portfolio in excess of £100m for both individuals and business clients.

Its seven staff will join Henderson’s Teesside operation and employees Jon Sturrock and Ben Danson will become directors of the new IFA division.

Jonathan Willett, director at Henderson Teesside, said: “Arlington joining the Henderson stable is a natural progression and will help drive two leading Northern businesses forward.
