Aviva restructures Broker Independence Group offering
Aviva has confirmed that it will be using centres in Perth and Leicester to support the majority of members of its Broker Independence Group for their commercial lines requirements.
When the service was launched in March 2009 it was designed for all local independent brokers with accounts of less than £800k premium with the provider.
According to Aviva's website, in the three years since launch it has attracted 1,250 brokers into the group.
The insurer claimed that the new development was part of its revised regional structure and was based on feedback that brokers were seeking a simplified approach with a single point of contact.
