Collegiate swaps Hiscox for Canopius
Collegiate Underwriting has replaced Hiscox with Canopius for its professional indemnity range.
The underwriting authority through Canopius' Syndicate 4444 is an extension on a previous arrangement for IFA business.
According to the company the new deal sees the relationship extended to cover most UK based SME general and miscellaneous professions. Hiscox previously provided capacity for non IFA professions.
Ben Randall previously managed the Hiscox facility and will underwrite the general professions.
