IFED cracks down on fraudsters in arrests sweep

The Insurance Fraud Enforcement Department (IFED) has made three arrests in Derby and Burton.

The arrests were made as part of an on-going investigation into suspected bogus accident claims made to insurance companies.

A man and his wife, aged 43 and 42, were arrested, and a second man, 41 was arrested by appointment, all on suspicion of conspiracy to defraud and money laundering.

All three are currently detained at local police stations.

Aviva doubling down for customers, says Martin
