JLT and AmTrust Europe target solicitors with PI service

JLT has teamed with AmTrust Europe to launch a sole practitioners professional indemnity (PI) insurance service to boost choice and flexibility.

The offering aims to help sole practitioners differentiate their risks and secure the optimum result for the renewals process.

Mike Perry, partner, JLT Speciality, said the service will provide a personalised quote, based on an assessment of each individual risk profile rather than a "rigid rating engine".

He said: "[PI] is a necessary but often frustrating requirement for law firms, which is often even more cumbersome for sole practitioners who lack choice and efficiency to get the right price
