Following Martin Friel into the hot seat at Insurance Age is no easy task, his knowledge and journalistic skills will be missed. Well almost, because, as you can see on page 24, he will still be writing for the magazine on a freelance basis and his article on the regulatory landscape for brokers really is a must read.

And the industry seems to have united to make sure that my first month in the role has been nothing short of frantic.
