The BGL Group expands board
The BGL Group has appointed David Downie to its board as group director of intermediated businesses.
He joins from HSS Hire Group, and has previously held senior roles at the 4U Group and Asda.
In his new role Mr Downie will hold responsibility several BGL operations, including Junction, Frontline and Bennetts, and will report to Matthew Donaldon, COO at BGL.
Matthew Donaldson said: “David’s appointment to the board consolidates our new structural approach, which supports the continuing growth of the group’s businesses. He joins us at an important time.
