RSA hoping to create jobs in Belfast
RSA will not be cutting any jobs in the wake of the revamp of its Northern Ireland operations.
The insurer, which is merging its subsidiary Europa General and RSA Belfast to form RSA Northern Ireland, plans to operate on an all-Ireland basis, with the Northern Irish segment reporting to RSA Ireland in Dublin.
Patrick Nally, marketing director at RSA Ireland, said there would be no job losses in Belfast.
“We actually have very strong growth intentions for our Northern Ireland operation,” he said. “By extension we will have to grow our business. Contraction is not on our radar.”
