UK Broker Summit 2012: Budget is good news for brokers

Chancellor George Osborne’s budget, delivered yesterday, is “good news” for the insurance industry, according to Stephen Archer of Spring Partnerships.

Mr Archer, a founding partner of the business strategy and leadership consultancy, told delegates at this year’s UK Broker Summit hosted by Insurance Age that the budget would be good for business, and said: “I’m optimistic about it.”

He added that it would build confidence, generate cash and make it easier for the UK to attract inward investment.
