Canopius appoints new UK chief
Canopius Group has appointed a new group chief executive responsible for the UK business.
Inga Beale will report to Michael Watson, currently chairman and chief executive, who will move up to executive chairman.
Jim Giordano continues in his role as group chief underwriting officer.
As group chief executive officer Ms Beale will assume ultimate responsibility for all of Canopius’s business operations in the United Kingdom and overseas.
Mr Watson said: “For the past eight years, Jim Giordano and I have overseen the group’s operations.
