Ex-Bluefin branch leader follows AR route with Corrigans

Paper figures representing social networking

Brendan Mulligan, former leader of the Bluefin Broker Partnership Services’ Coventry office has set up Thomson James as an appointed representative of insurance broker Corrigans.

Mr Mulligan, who left Bluefin when it closed the franchisee focused office in September, told Insurance Age that the new Birmingham-based role involved targeting small and mid level SME sized commercial business up to £250,000 in premium.

"I've got restrictive covenants from Bluefin which I shall be honouring," he said.

"I'm starting from scratch, on the phones chasing down leads in the old fashioned way, getting out there and meeting people. It is the only way to build the business."
