LV appoints senior underwriter from Aviva

LV has appointed Tom Maughan as a senior underwriter for its Bournemouth branch which looks after brokers in Dorset, Hampshire, West Sussex, the Isle of Wight and the Channel Islands.

Mr Maughan joins from Aviva where he was a trading underwriter responsible for developing new business. He has worked in commercial insurance for over ten years and has been tasked with developing opportunities with key brokers.

He will report to Tim Griffiths, Bournemouth branch manager, who commented: "Tom has extensive local knowledge and long standing relationships with brokers in the south. We're delighted that he has joined and believe he will be a great asset to the team."
