Towergate appoints FSA man as non-exec director
Towergate has announced the appointment of James Strachan to its board as non-executive director and chairman of the group risk and compliance committee, subject to regulatory approval.
Mr Strachan is currently a non-executive director of the Financial Services Authority, JP Morgan Asian Investment, Welsh Water, Sarasin and Partners, and Social Finance.
He previously held the position of managing director of Merrill Lynch, and was also a board member of Merrill Lynch International.
