Mageean signs up with Broker Network and Countrywide
Bernard Mageean has been appointed as director of insurer relations at Broker Network and Countrywide.
Mr Mageean was previously managing director, property, for QBE European operations when it won Towergate's commercial property owners business from Axa.
He left the insurer last year with QBE citing the effects of market forces as it merged the property, casualty and motor underwriting teams into one division as the reason behind his departure. Prior to QBE he held senior roles at RSA where he worked for 32 years.
