Travelers looks to QBE for PI hire

David Sawyer has been appointed as assistant general manager responsible for the professional indemnity (PI) portfolio at Travelers Insurance.

Mr Sawyer has joined Travelers from QBE where he was portfolio manager within the professional and financial lines team.

During his time at QBE, he managed the development of QBE's PI offering across its national offices and was also involved in the merger of QBE's company and syndicate PI teams.

He will report to Jonathan Davies, general manager, Travelers professional risks and specialist risks.

Mr Davies said: "I am delighted to welcome David. He will build on the strategy of the PI portfolio

Aviva doubling down for customers, says Martin
