NMJ doubles in size with Broker Direct purchase

NMJ Insurance Brokers has acquired Barry Fenton Insurance from Broker Direct as a result of the latter’s plan to focus on its core business.

The purchase of the Scunthorpe-based broker follows the acquisitions of Ridge Insurance in Glossop and Protheroe Insurance in Belper last year. Barry Fenton Insurance has been acquired from the Broker Direct group which has made a strategic decision to divest itself of its broking operations.
