Chubb fills Mitsui Sumitomo shaped hole
Patrick Mettler has been appointed to the role of country and business development manager for Ireland at Chubb.
The appointment has been made after Alan Shiel, the previous Ireland country manager at Chubb, left to take on the role of Ireland MD at Mitsui Sumitomo at Lloyd's in April this year.
Mr Shiel was joined there by Cormac McNamara, underwriting manager (Ireland), Greg Wilde, underwriter, Northern Ireland and Scotland and David Jenkins, claims and risk engineering manager.
In addition to his new role, Mr Mettler will retain his current role as Ireland specialty insurance manager, a position which
