Trade bodies hail TV campaign to tackle uninsured driving
The British Insurance Brokers’ Association (Biba) and the Association of British Insurers (ABI) have welcomed the launch of a television campaign to tackle uninsured driving.
The TV campaign, conducted by the Motor Insurers' Bureau, will raise awareness of the government’s crackdown on uninsured drivers, the legislation around which comes into play from 20 June.
The changes will make it is an offence to keep an uninsured vehicle, even when not being driven.
