RSA expands SME e-trading proposition

RSA has announced the expansion of its e-Promise team designed to support brokers online trading with the insurer.

The expanded e-Promise team of six underwriters will be based in Glasgow and is in addition to the pilot team of nine staff which will continue to operate in Birmingham.

The insurer explained that the e-Promise team was comprised of dedicated underwriters available on the phone for brokers unable to enter their risk online or who had a complex query.

Aviva doubling down for customers, says Martin

Aviva is committed to pushing on with an “absolute focus on customer” and will continue “doubling down”, David Martin, managing director for UK commercial and chief distribution officer, told Insurance Age as he teased a “major new proposition” pencilled in for the end of the third quarter will catch brokers’ eyes.
