New Aberdeen office for Willis

Willis has opened a new office in Aberdeen to develop business in the city and complement Willis’ existing presence in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Dundee.

Management of the office will be the responsibility of recent recruit Brian Martin, branch director.

Willis said it had identified Aberdeen as a base to focus on prospects in the oil and gas industry and would offer the chance to explore the benefits of renewable energy.

The broker said Aberdeen would also provide an alternative location to service current clients from if and when appropriate.

Brokers push for more from RSA/NIG

Brokers have given a mixed report on communication levels around the RSA and NIG deal but with the process kicking forwards today have expressed the hope the takeover will make more products available.
