Blanc begins revamp of Axa's commercial senior management

Amanda Blanc

A strategic review of Axa’s business has led to a host of its UK commercial senior management being informed their jobs are at risk, Insurance Age’s sister publication Post has learnt.

Staff in a selection of departments across the business including its mid-corporate offering, have been told they have to re-apply for their jobs, and it is understood the re-application process is already underway.

According to sources, several members of senior management at Axa's property owners' business have already been told their jobs may be under threat.

While Axa declined to comment, it has confirmed that an announcement on the wider insurance business is due to be released on 6 April.
