Health news: MCD trust fund scheme offers brokers alternative route into PMI

Medical Care Direct (MCD), part of the Skipton Group, has launched a scheme which offers brokers an alternative path into the private medial insurance (PMI) sector.

MCD's new offering, Health Link, has been designed to provide a healthcare trust fund to businesses and organisations with over 100 employees.

According to the broker, the advantages of a healthcare trust were traditionally only really available to those employers with over 1,000 members due to the cost and complexity of their set up process.
