Schemes news: 'Smart scheme' to double Gent & Craig's GWP for dental policies
Northern Ireland broker Gent & Craig Insurances has boosted its presence in dental surgery insurance following the creation of a 'smart scheme' by specialist insurer UK General.
As reported by Insurance Age (January p13 2011) UK General is looking to launch 15 schemes a month this year through the initiative.
According to UK General's schemes director John Bibby, Gent & Craig's gross written premium (GWP) for dental surgery policies would double as a result of the scheme.
Gent & Craig worked in partnership with UK General's commercial underwriting team to identify and create a scheme which met the requirements of its dental clients.
