E-commerce: Besso launches online underwriting facility via MGA
Specialist Lloyd's broker Besso Group has launched what it describes as a unique online commercial underwriting facility via managing general agent (MGA) Gladstone Underwriting.
The facility is targeting brokers that deal with UK commercial package insurance business for small and medium-sized firms.
Gladstone Underwriting said its aim was to "accommodate a composite style approach across all classes of commercial insurance within the next five years".
Currently, the arrangement will be complemented with access to Novae's motor fleet underwriters.
The MGA said it was targeting a selection of "good quality brokers with a client base to support the MGA's growth" and that
