Spending Review 2010: Zurich Municipal warns against "knee jerk" reactions

Andrew Jepp, head of local government at Zurich Municipal, said the extent of todays cuts are "every bit as severe as expected".

He added: "While many local authorities – and public sector organisations more broadly – have, for some time, been implementing effective changes to pave the way for these cuts, activity must now be ramped up."
