Jelf creates national business focused on community broking

Jelf's insurance chief executive, Phil Barton, has spoken of the company's future plans after creating a "significant new player" in the market.

Previous acquisitions Clarke Roxburgh, Lampier, Manson Insurance Group and Argyll Insurance were brought together with Jelf Insurance Brokers and Jelf Professions under a single regulated entity - Jelf Insurance Brokers - on 1 October. The acquired businesses have been rebranded as Jelf Clarke Roxburgh, Jelf Lampier and Jelf Manson, with Argyll being renamed as Jelf Insurance Brokers.
